I wish I'd have taken a photo, but this necklace is so amazing. I had countless compliments when I tried it on, but, ultimately I didn't keep it because it didn't quite go with my ensemble. I was VERY tempted just to hang onto it for fun, but I had another option that matched just a little bit better. My daughter loved it, and she's 25, so i'd say if you're looking for a fun - and definitely statement necklace - for a gift that's really affordable, this is a great option!

Though in person it looks a bit more plastic than I would prefer, it reads beautifully onstage. It looked vibrant and joyful. The actress loved it too. She used thus necklace to establish that she was going from Storyteller to Mama Euralie. Full of life and evocative of Africa, it makes a statement.

This is a big necklace for not a lot of money so it ran the chance to be Gotti or cheap or really fake plastic gems and I was surprised by the nice quality. The clasp is fairly strong and simple and the padded bands that go around the neck are beautiful and the “gems“ are made of a nice, hard material and the whole piece does not look cheap it’s really nice.
