Fits late generation OMC and Volvo-Penta 3.0 liter 4-cylinder engines that have the Holley 2-barrel carburetor. Replaces part numbers 3851227, 3856662, 3857798, 3863071 and 3588684. Barr replacement part is supplied with mounting screws and lifter gasket. Order the additional lift joint and restrictor plate separately if necessary. This specific mfg build seems as well made as the original.General comment... This part is way easier to access and install than I expected for my Chaparral, but still need to deal with a blind spot..Expect to need

This is a perfect replacement for part number 3861915. The only difference is it comes with 4 bolts rather that 2 bolts and 2 studs/nuts, and is painted black versus red. Good quality and good riser gasket. The four bolts were not the right ones, so I re-used the old ones by first wiring brushing them with a circular wire brush/drill, and used loctite to ensure they stayed tight. This new riser did appear to be built a little better than the old one.
