No cracks or checks, no waste. Dried perfectly, my meter showed 6% consistently through the turning process. A little expensive, but much more convenient than tracking down a local exotic hardwood dealer. If you're a woodturner, I cannot recommend these blanks more! I've gotten maple, butternut, Wenge, and cherry blanks from these guys and all species were top notch quality.

Sold as turning blanks, about half of these had significant checks making them dangerous to turn. In the past I've received straight clear blanks from Barrington and so I'm giving 3 stars as "benefit of the doubt."
