I am 6’2 265, I ordered the 2X and they fit great. No need for a belt but still plenty of room. The elastic in the waist combined with a button front with zipper fly is the best of both worlds. Pockets are big and plentiful, including a pliers pocket and D-ring. I wish they were a 1/2â€-1†longer but that is a very minor complaint! Material feels like nylon, tough but supple. Should be cool and comfortable while fishing in Belize next month!

I purchased 2 pair in order to try them out. I'm not using these for fishing, but for working outside in my plant nursery. I've been using beach shorts and I think these will wear better and I appreciate having the zipper rear pockets. I have a 41" waist and the 3XL size is a perfect fit. I'll be purchasing more.

These shorts are lightweight, perfect for walking, fishing, hiking or just wearing for everyday use. The pocket on the right side is perfect for my phone. The inseam is one of the things I like the most about these shorts. I have cargo shorts that catch on my knees as I try to bend, and these shorts solve that problem. I plan to order another pair of these because they look great, feel good and fit well.

I usually buy AFTCO fishing shorts but decided to give these a try since they were significantly less expensive than the AFTCO's. They're not as heavy as the AFTCO's but the construction is good. They are comfortable and look good. Time will tell if they hold up to frequent wear.

The pockets just don’t work out for my lifestyle, I guess. I have to use two hands and dog around to open flaps and find pockets. Pockets are the reason I bought them. Fit is small, comfort of waistband is 6/10
