Only CON is color - slight pink-lavender compared with other whites in the room. Seems durable (dropped from 10' and no damage. Needed to modify to work with my 20 yr old vent but looks great other than color

Another purchase manufactured by company I'm needing a replacement piece for. I'm discovering these spring clips used in my lights as well. These plspring clips are too strong to pinch inward and hold long enough to insert them into what holds them to secure proper fitment. They are screwed onto PLASTIC components. This is a poor design. They slip from my grasp and the pressure from that causes the cracking and breaking to where they are connected. 3 items have broken and I have to replace because of these absurd spring clips. Why?

Build quality is not as good as the typical Lowe's/HD ones. Spring latches are better and worse than traditional design. Springs are more easily replaceable on this design but the springs are longer do they don't fit snugly to the ceiling. The vent hangs with a gap from the sheetrock. It doesn't look good imo.

So, this fan cover works as expected. It was easy to install, looks great, and appears well made. The springs hold up the cover as expected and I have not had any issues with it. I would buy this again.

We tried to put this up to replace our old one that had yellowed with age. Our ceilings had recently been repainted a nice white and we had replaced the one in our guest bath due to age and yellowing. We decided to replace the one in the Master bath as the old one looked dingy. When we opened this and put it in place it has a very light purple tint to the white which does not look good against the white ceiling. It also would not stay in place against the ceiling as the spring wires would push it back down. I might have been able to re-bend the wires to make it work but since it doesn't look right I didn't bother.
