It just fits according with my bathtub.

Our current drain plug stopped working. The rubber piece had split apart, and so the water would leak out through the drain plug, even when it was closed. This is a click-on click-off.This drain plug was a perfect match with our Price Pfister tub/shower fixture. It was not available on Amazon Prime, and the shipping was $8.99, but the part worked perfectly, so it was worth it.

My recently purchased house came with this design of drain stopper on the sinks and tubs. They fail when the rubber ring loses shape and flexibility and no longer seats well. Because of the design, the whole unit must be replaced rather than just the rubber. Once I identified the manufacturer, it was easy to find a replacement online. Replacement takes a minute. It is important to seat the central brass bolt fully into the tub or sink fitting, and also to turn the chrome stopper clockwise so that the pressure on the rubber ring seats it snugly when pushed down into locking position. They are definitely easier to work with than a stopper connected by rods to the bathtub overflow, and less likely to get lost than the old fashioned un-attached plug. (I remember when plugs had retention chains that collected crud). Unilke the cheap drain plugs, these put pressure on the rubber sealing circle beyond the force exerted by the water alone. Maybe they are worth 5 stars.

Before you buy a product through Amazon from this supplier, ABC Plumbing, be aware that if it is defective or does not work (their product description is terrible) you will be paying for a restocking fee if you need to return the product. I purchased two tub plungers, the first I thought I bought the wrong one, so I returned it and ordered the other one (different diameter). Come to find out that the plunger doesn't go down far enough to make a seal with the drain. Water would leak out. I was charged a restocking fee on both orders.I thought it would be easier to just order it though Amazon, but sometimes it's easier to just run to Home Depot.

The top of the stopper was smaller than expected, however I had order a gasket for my american standard deep soak tup- it didn't work after further inspection I realized it was the tip-toe plunger that wasn't going up and down. I used the gasket and plunger piece from this to replace the original and use with my stopper. Wonderful to have my bath drain working again.

Just what I needed and was as described. I really thought for the price that it was going to be plastic with an oil rubbed bronze finish, but it really was a metal top! Fit perfectly and I'm sorry that I waited so long to purchase a new one.

This plug does the job that it's designed to do. I've had this plug for 6 months now with no issues whatsoever. We have completed out remodeling and this drain plug added a nice decor to the new tub along with our bronze look theme in the bathroom. The family is happy and I'm happy.
