I originally tried the SAE USB charger from Battery Tender, but I found out it was SLOW to charge my S23 Ultra. I decided to return that and buy this little device instead. Installation was easy and only required me to take out my seat and connect it to the existing SAE harness and it worked flawlessly. Using a USB-C to USB-C cable will give the fastest charge to most phones. If it was able to fast charge my Samsung, it'll easily do so for any iPhone as well. Plus the battery voltage meter is awesome for those who like more info about their bikes. Plus it has a button to easily turn off and on, and have never had it drain my battery to the point of not starting.

So the side with the button is flat but it has the button to power on and off. The other side has a kind of hump that is smaller than the rest of the device itself, so sadly it’ll be tricky to hard mount (debating double sided tape or maybe Velcro so I can remove it for track days) LOVE the blue display for voltmeter to put my mind at ease for battery levels, it also has blue for the display which for my eyes personally is easier to see on my red motorcycle and in the daylight. I can’t speak to how waterproof or how well it would hold up in general but right off the bat I have a feeling this will last several riding seasons (New England rider) before needing a new one and that price is to good to not give it a try!

Everything works and install is simple. Bracket didn't arrive with correct screws but any others from hardware store work well. The button is solid on it and it's easy to hit with gloves which is important. The issue is when you use the USB for phone the ports are exposed to dust or whatever you ride in so I added some black tape over them to stop debree. It's a big bigger than expected but not an issue. Over all I am very pleased!

Meh... now a quick charge, so the power to the device is so little that it just prolongs an iPhone from going dead by only a short time. iPhone 15 Pro Max with Sportify and GPS running, plugged in entire time, battery died after 4 hours. Not to mention, this has a momentary on type switch and it defaults to "off" each time it loses power, so you have to physically tap the button on the front to turn the device back on to energize the ports. It's solid enough, a little bulky for a motorcycle application. I don't recall this coming with a cord, but then again, my bike already had an SAE outlet ready to plug it into.

These have an on/off toggle switch. When connected to a switched source, the units reset after each power cycle and must be turned on again to allow power to flow. This is not ideal for most applications.

This works perfectly for what I need, just re-routed my sae leads to the bars and connected the charge port. The beauty is that I can just disconnect the sae connection to plug in my optimiser. A 3ft lead is supplied if you don’t have an sae already on your bike it was just easier for me to just move my existing cable.Update, as of the 2nd May it’s totally packed up, Definitely not weather proof, it was mounted on the bars behind the screen and only been out in the rain a few times since it was purchased on 16th February, I definitely won’t be buying another!
