searched for bar top supports from lowes and home depot plus countless other options. looked on amazon and found one but saw these in others viewed column. these had the best price, this whole set was the same price as the cost of just one of these from lowes. measured once i got them and the dimensions described ,matched what i got. i used themon an 8ft wide 1/2†thick wood bar top spaced apart just a little further than what instructions said but still worked very well and very sturdy. i would recommend making sure drill bit you use fits snug i did strip out first screw head thinking it was right size, removed it and went one size higher and worked great. it did come with a few extra screws so wasnt too concerned. overall great product would highly recommend over higher priced products that are similar. also shipped fast even showed up a day earlier than expected with prime shipping.

It looks very sturdy. It is holding my quartz (very heavy) bar top very well.Price is excellent. I would recommend this to a friend. Easy to install, you can use a oscillating tool or chop saw. I used a dremmel with a router to carve the groove and construction glue.The bar top is not going anywhere.

I am using these metal supports to support 2†thick double live edge elm wood upper bar countertop12†overhang. Would have been nice if there were additional holes to screw up into countertop to hold it in place. It would make this more versatilethan being designed to support only granite countertops. These supports are 1/4†thick and well made. I bought a titanium impact bit and a set of counter sink bits for metal to make holes to fasten the countertop.
