Could not be more pleased with this purchase. This was a birthday gift for my nephew. Solid wood, built extremely well, and very heavy duty. The magnets work perfectly and they can be used on a variety of tracks. The colors are fun, too. This is a great value for the price and I want to buy them for my own kids now, too!

Nice quality trains for a much lower price! Ordered both sets! Unfortunately the magnets leave something to be desired. They pretty much only hold the weight of a single car.It might also be worth pointing out that the black and green trains have funnels that don’t allow them to fit under standard height bridges. This can be fixed by elevating the bridge on a block or other track.

They could charge twice the amount and it would still be worth it. Based on the price I was a tiny bit skeptical how quality they’d be. But they are just as good if not better quality than wooden trains 2-3x the cost. They are also a very nice size. Very big and sturdy but work easily in all wooden tracks. The best thing my son loves about them is they are the only wooden trains we have (and we have a bunch from multiple brands) that have two independent wheel bases. So the each train car has a two sets of wheels that move so they never fall off the track even in a tight bend. Son couldn’t be happier.

Got this toy for my Grandson. We have so many tracks for his wooden train set. I got this one since it didn't have a bridge or hump for the train to go over. Some of the trains can't pull themselves along with train cars over the humps. When I opened this one it had plastic tracks. I guess I didn't read the description, just looked at the picture. To my surprise, I LOVE THE PLASTIC TRACKS! They lay better and the trains are much smoother with plastic than wood. I highly recommend this toy train!! Great price too!!!
