This fit my 2003 Toyota Corolla. It was not a perfect fit. It kind of set at an angle and went over the edge of the battery on each side, but it is a friends car and the battery may not have been exactly the right size for the car. The bolt hole did line up correctly and the bolts that came with it were perfect. Overall seems to be a well made product.

What is this!? Why did the bracket come broken and barely look welded from the center? It seems like if I had put this battery bracket on my battery, it would of came loose and snapped off, smh.

Either I received a defective item or the hook is wrongly sized for a 2007 Matrix. The nut will only screw to the very top of the threaded area, leaving about an inch unfastened. That defeat this system holding anything down. The photos show the situation with the J hook in place at the bottom.
