My factory hold down corroded and despite brushing all the corrosion off and repainting it, the corrosion came back a short time later. If I had know about this replacement before spending the time on the factory one, I’d have saved the trouble. It’s a perfect fit for my 2007 Corolla and it looks great. The quality and construction seem on par with the Toyota piece so far. Good value for the money along with an easy install.

The hold down for my car had corroded enough to break. I ordered this one, and was very pleased. It fit, was easy to install, came early on the delivery date, and seems sturdy enough to last for quite some time to come. Should have purchased it a couple of months ago.

Doesn't fit my daughters 2006 Corolla exactly, it will work but the clips that go on either side of the battery are further apart than the original one by like a qtr to a half inch ish. It will work, it looks the same, but holding them up to each other you can see the difference. The holes lined up ok.
