I got these battery terminals for my 2015 Jeep Compass. I have a history of doing car stereo and other automotive upgrades, so I chose to go with these because I thought they looked good, they came with the protective covers, and they leave me with plenty of options if I want to add accessories in the future. The fastening screws clamp down nice and tight on the ends of the cable and I'm not worried that they're going to wiggle loose. I took the spacer for the post out of the terminals since my terminals are pretty wide. If your posts on your battery are smaller, or if you have problem with the terminals coming loose on your car, you can use that spacer to get extra grip on the posts. I like how the terminals look after installing them, very beefy and robust. I do a lot of work on my car, so having the plastic covers will prevent a metal tool from accidentally arcing the battery. The plastic covers ARE a little tricky to get off, but that ensures they won't come loose accidentally. You can sand down the plastic tabs that hold them on if you want them to come off a little easer.

This is a well constructed product.Some people have reviewed that these terminals do not fit. I thought the same thing when I first tried to fit them, but then I realized I made two mistakes: 1) The hole for each terminal contained an unnoticed shim that I needed to remove first, and 2) the positive terminal has a larger hole because the positive battery post is larger, so attach the right terminal to the right post. If your cables terminate with wire lugs, then this product does not accommodate those, so you will have to either choose another product or cut off the wire lugs.

This kit includes clamps, shims and clear covers only. No additional accessories. Be sure that this kit is all that you need. Once you start, you may end up needing to takeba trip to a nearby auto parts store halfway through install. Everything came as advertised. Although the product had some scuffs, everything was functioning. After a few YT vids, i got started. 20 mins later i finished. The price was right. That said, installation was straightforward and i had no issues. Installing the clamps first after cleaning the terminals helped to stabilize them for inserting the different gauge of wire. Wh,en you finish the clear plastic covers are a nice finishing touch. ts been >3 weeks and i am happy with the product.

I replaced my battery cables by buying welding cables and crimp on terminals. And i used these terminals for battery topside of cable end. Installation was so easy and came out excellent. This was a great upgrade from original battery terminals. Great price!! Great contact !!

Me preocupo un poco la principio por que la descripción de las instrucciones decÃa que era para uso en botes si recuerdo bien. Pero fue fácil la instalación y los resultados superaron mis expectativas en un automóvil de uso diario.

I did a dry run before the proper install; these were a good fit. The negative terminal was a little loose but the included shim made it a good tight fit. No sign of cracking or breaking when torquing down the retaining nuts. I did use Loctite on the Allen bolts holding the cables in - I would have done this on any brand or style of terminal. The transparent covers are a very nice touch. No colour coding = no problem for me, that's why I bought them in the first place. I am happy.Based on my experience I will recommend these as good value and great quality.

I used this product for my car. It works greet. The price was really good. Cannot beat it. I did see on the package it was made in China. But seems to be very good Quality. And I have no problems with it. Easy to install.
