This assembly does require drilling to attach and needs hardware to fasten to enclosure.The assembly is made of quality materials and is easy to assemble.The battery is securely held with no chance of damaging to battery.A little logic is needed to figure out that the nuts need to be attached to the tubes prior to placing the top triangular plate and the remaining three nuts.Worth the higher cost as compared to plain metal battery holders.

Appears to be very nicely made. Aluminum should be strong and rust free. I did not see in the ad that mounting hardware was not included, but considering the different ways it can be mounted it isn't really a surprise. For me, 4 3/8" ish short grade 8 bolts will do nicely.

Love this battery tray, put it into my 1997 Toyota Tacoma, works so great, I’m pretty handy so it wasn’t too bad but I had to make a completely custom mounting plate for the battery tray to mount to, but so strong I would definitely recommend, used to worry about my battery moving and rubbing but now I don’t think twice about it!
