About this item

  • Batting Seam Tape
  • Bosal Foam & Fiber

Youve got lots of batting scraps and like most quilters, those scraps dont get tossed out. Use this batting seam tape so no batting goes to the dark side. Use your rotary cutter and ruler to get straight edges on the batting pieces and then measure out an appropriate length of batting seam tape. Butt the edges of batting together, lay the batting seam on top of the two pieces where they join, and iron. Voila! Youve now got a nice piece of batting you can use. Its so soft you cant even tell its there. 1-1/2"-wide fusible tape. 10-yard roll.

Make sure you always choose the right batting for your quilt project with our quilt batting guide.

Using leftover batting to make a quilt board/wall hanging to exhibit quilt blocks before sewing together. Tape is easy to use.

I love this tape!! Make sure to follow the directions or your tape will separate from batting. I used a cotton dish towel and set iron on med-high. I have also used over joints that were sewed but only caught parts of the layers and it holds perfectly. Remember, a thin cloth over tape before ironing! The glue will get on your iron plate! 30 seconds or so with medium pressure and you're good to go.

Being able to attach left over pieces of batting together and use in a new project is a real money saver. The tape holds the pieces together well, and is completely unnoticeable once the the quilting is complete. I have never had a problem with washing quilts and the tape creating a problem.

Super easy to use -- simply iron on (on a light setting) and it connects pieces of batting. No more zig zag and messing with bulk batting on your machine. Iron and go!

Although it does stick as well as the cheaper brands, I honestly don’t feel this is worth the money. The edges are very raggedy and it is very loosely rolled. I would not buy this brand again. I did not return it only because I’m under a time constraint and needed use it now.
