I bought this for a cruise we were going on because the towels they provide are often too small for me. This is extremely lightweight and thin perfect for travel. It’s more absorbent than you’d expect and seems to get better (and softer) with age. Because of how lightweight it is it’s pretty thin, I use it at home too now but I generally opt for a fluffier, warmer towel. This is thin and lightweight which is perfect for the beach, pool, or warmer weather in general. If you want something cozy and plush this isn’t it.

I love the look (color, striped pattern and tassels), the massive size, the lightness of the material, its absorbent quality, the fact that is dries so quickly and how well it has held up since I purchased it in October 2020. Anther bonus is that because it dries so quickly, it doesn't have any odor or damp smell.At first, the material was stiffer and definitely not as absorbent but with regular use and with each time it went through the laundry, the towel got softer and more absorbent.I love that it looks just as good today as it did when I first purchased it - no pulls, frayed ends or worn areas. Occasionally, a tassel loosens. When this happens, I just tighten the knot at the end of it.Since I can roll this towel up so small, I prefer to take it with me on vacation. It hardly takes up any space in my luggage.I recently purchased this towel in dark blue for my daughter. She absolutely loves the color and the size.

I love this towel! It rolls up to a very convenient size and with the bag it comes with its so easy to throw in the beach bag and go! The fabric is pretty thin, which makes it great for drying off. But not so great for laying on in the sand. My daughter doesn't seem to mind it but I prefer to sunbathe on a towel that puts more between me and the sand.

My daughter went on a trip with her college and needed a beach towel that wouldn't take up too much room in her suitcase. The trip leaders recommended the kids look for a Turkish towel. I honestly didn't even know that was a thing!So, we went to our tried and true resource for every product under the sun...hello Amazon! She decided on this towel pretty quickly and was very very happy with her purchase.This towel went with on the two week excursion and more than served its purpose. It even came with its own cute little bag! She said it did the job valiantly. Well, she didn't use that word exactly, but you catch my drift.If you're looking for a compact beach towel that will do everything a beach towel is supposed to do...then here ya go!

I bought a towel to take with me on my cruise this past October. I'd heard that Turkish beach towels were amazing, but wasn't fully sold. This towel was WAY better than expected.Things I loved:-I got mine with the carrying sleeve, it weighed less and took up less space in bag than a normal beach towel.- Generous size, larger than the basic hotel/cruise pool towels.- I used it as a shawl/blanket for my plane rides.- It dries you, but never gets sopping wet. It dries so quickly!- A small, non-aggressive shake removes ALL of the sand from the towel. I never tracked any into my room from the towel.Things I wish were different:-I wish there was an option to buy a slight larger size. Even though I do think they are currently generously sized, I would like the option for a little bigger.I love this towel so much that for Christmas I bought my sister's entire family their own for their vacation in January. And THEY all loved it as well. Totally worth it.

I have some really nice Turkish towels that were $48 each. These do not compare to those. These were light weight and the colors were bright. The color did bleed on the first wash so make sure to wash by themselves. These towels do absorb water. They are not near as soft as the Sand Cloud brand. I missed the return time or I would have returned them. If you don't want to spend $50 on the Sand Cloud brand then this might work well for you. The carry bag that comes with it is nice and is well made.
