I'm having a good experience with this so far. I'm using it to run a vacuum aspirator for doing vacuum distillation; this outperforms low-pressure, high-volume pumps (like fountain/aquarium pumps) by a factor of 5 for that purpose, easily. This pump is rated to draw under 40 watts, so you can use any computer power supply to run it. I've wired mine directly to a cheap, spare PSU I had laying around, but I'd recommend using an ATX breakout board if you want to go this route; some ATX PSUs won't stay on unless they have a load on some of the lower voltage lines, which a breakout board should handle for you.I've been running this for several hours at a time over the last couple days, and have had no issues with excess heat; after a few hours the motor housing is only slightly warm to the touch. The only con to this pump in my application is that when operating it in an enclosed room, it's a little noisy. The sound doesn't carry through walls or anything, but the vibrations do carry through the intake and output hoses; if either of those hoses wind up resting against a box or something, it'll be quite loud. I recommend mounting this pump to something heavy and to avoid operating it on top of any table that's prone to rattling. All in all, I'm quite happy with this. It serves the purpose I bought it for at a very reasonable price point.

Purchased for use with a portable fish cleaning station. Works great!Low battery draw, high pressure, and the pump is small enough to mount just about anywhere. So far the on-demand on/off feature is working well and it doesn't leak.I'd buy another if needed.

I bought this to pump new antifreeze into an engine and it worked well. It appears well made. It was self priming and easily drew liquid from 16" lower than the pump inlet. And it was quiet. I believe it was rated at 1.2 gpm but it appeared to pump at least 3 times that volume (with no back pressure because I was pushing fluid out with the new fluid going in). The wire leads are about a foot long. The fluid inlet/outlet are barb style and fit 3/8 ID tubing. The mounting feet are a really flexible rubber material and should provide good cushion from vibration if it's mounted (like in an RV). It was well packaged (wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap and boxed) and came with clear operating instructions. The pump has a a pressure cutoff switch (so it can be used in a closed water supply system) that the instructions say is adjustable (by turning a screw in the pump head). My application was an open system, so I did not get to test the pressure switch. Nice pump...lots of features at this price level.

Pump claims to be self priming. 80-90% of time will not do so. This is based on a 1.5ft difference between pump level and intake location.
