This item lasted a little more than one year in a show car that only accumulated approximately 2800 miles last year.The butterflies started sticking when trying to accelerate anytime the was no demand in the throttle. I put my old unit back on and the concern has been corrected. I refuse to spend another $350 on a poorly manufactured part. I do not recommend this throttle body. Scrap !

Definite seat of pants improvement in my '99 F350 dually with 6.8L V10, and moreso after throwing a more or less canned SCT tune on. No perceptible loss in low end, and definite improvement in acceleration with a loaded horse trailer in tow.No idea on impact to fuel economy, this truck pulls trailers and carries hay for a living so lots of short hauls, stoplight to stoplight and idling, so it's not a good candidate to measure economy on.And icing on the cake, it's a direct bolt on that took minutes to install with basic tools. The new throttlebody comes with a new gasket and new hardware.*Hint for setting idle stop, use a .010" feeler gauge between the blade and housing to set the throttle stop, being careful not to scratch the bore.Start the truck and let it idle down, then unplug the Idle Air Control valve (IAC) which will cause the engine's idle to fall some depending on condition of the engine and modifications.Now adjust the throttle stop screw in or out so that the engine will idle around 500-550 RPM.Reconnect the IAC, the RPM should come back up to factory or tuned idle RPM around 750 RPM.Drive normally for a bit to let the computer learn the new modifications before attempting to tow, race, or hoon the truck.Enjoy!

Very bad pedal feel and sticking coming off idle. Tried several things. Final attempt from tech support would have me drill holes in throttle plates. I did not feel comfortable with this and returned it. I purchased the other brand that bolted on with no adjustments needed and pedal felt normal once again.

My 2004 Mach 1 suffered surging idle speed and uneven throttle response with this expensive piece of junk installed. The response from BBK was zero. Avoid this product at all costs. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
