The fitment onto my Hummer H2 was fine, but the heat these give off was not. My OEM headers have outer heat shields integrated onto the headers and now I know why. Running these BBK's, it seemed highly likely I was going to be burning spark plug wires. I removed after one test trip around the subdivision. I was a little disappointed to see how these that "blued" in that short time. Perhaps there was an oily film on them I should have cleaned off beforehand? In any event, I noticed no obvious increase in power in the short time they were on and noticed no difference in the sound of my exhaust. They are heavy and seem durable. Inside the tubes I was not happy to see so many welding slag splatters left beind. In hindsight, for another couple hundred I could have/should have bought ceramic coated headers.
