When looking around for some nice, OEM-looking automotive carpet to use on a custom car camping setup I built with my friend, I had a lot of uncertainty whether I could find a material that would look and work the way I expected. Looking at product photos and customer review photos was helpful but still left me with some doubt. With this in mind I attached some detailed photos of the material to help others. This stuff exceeded all of my expectations!I used to design custom speaker enclosures and this is some of the best carpet I've worked with! It's a tad bit thicker than what I'm used to but it turned out prefect and I wouldn't want it any thinner (or thicker). This stuff stretches nicely which is helpful for making clean edges and rounded corners. It's non-woven so it's not like craft felt, yet it has good structure and some light will pass through if you hold it up. It laid down beautifully with some 3M Super 77 spray adhesive. It's a nearly perfect match to the OEM trunk carpet on a 2023 Toyota RAV4 (see images).I saw some complaints that the material comes folded instead of rolled up, leaving creases in the material. I was able to quickly remove the creases using a handheld garment steamer (an iron with steam would work too).Pro tip: Don't run screws or drill bits directly through material like this; it will snag and mess up your project. This plastic fiber material melts nicely so use a soldering iron to pilot your holes. This will melt the material around the hole into a plastic ring which will allow you to install/remove screws without ruining the material. (see images)I'm extremely pleased with this material and the results of my project! If you're looking for carpet to use in an automotive project, this is it!

This was perfect for adding non-glare to my rear dashboard. I have a nice car but the glare was terrible at times. I found a mat for the front dashboard which solved its issue but then I noticed the rear dashboard was worse so I couldn’t find a product for my carThen I looked for material like the mat I purchased and found this product. I at first over sized the cut but later trimmed it. What a difference it made!It’s holding up and I no longer have issues with glareWell worth the cost! Makes driving so much safer

I added this to an interior auto project and overall am happy with the result. The material is a bit thin, more like a roll of black felt than carpet, but when installed it didn't look a lot different than my car carpet. I did use spray glue and the folds from being folded to ship mostly disappeared.

This stuff is much thicker and more durable than what I was able to source at the local nationwide auto-parts places. 10 years ago I had no trouble getting nice carpet locally but it seems impossible now. This stuff is the best replacement I have found so far. I use 3m Super 77 adhesive normally and it works great with this product also.

The spray glue doesn't stick to it.It is rigid and won't stretch to take the shape of anything you want to cover with it. You can't cover anything with it anyway since the glue doesn't stick. I fought it for an hour and threw it in the trash where it belongs.A waste of money.

Its not carpet its a thin felt ok for lining inside jewel box or drawers definitely not for using as carpet!
