I love the sound quality that these boxes produce with my ds 18 6.5" midrange woofers...the vocals are clearer than they were in the other enclosures i had them in.and u can hear the electric guitar with great clarity when listening to godsmack, tool, disturbed, and whatever loud rock I listen to....the boxes made a huge difference in the overall sound quality in my old 74 chevy c10 single cab truck....they are a bit bigger than I expected and they don't fit in the corner cubby behind the seat. So the boxes kinda stick out a few inches and the seats barely clear the boxes when put all the way back, but even though the seats block the line of sight, they still can be heard very clearly....so I don't really care how much space the boxes take up....they are worth it!! Its a good balance with my 1500 watt sub amp and sub in a sealed box. Also I have 2 ds 18 6.5"mid woofers in the doors paired with 2 two inch tweeters ....all 6 speakers are powered by a 60 ×4 watt compact stepsom amp...Boxes are definetly a good buy!!! If u have room...run 'em...u won't be dis-apointed

Don’t let the other reviews fool you if you have 6.5†speakers most of the actual mounting holes are not 6.5†apart. They work great and feel high quality I set mine up with some DS18 PRO 6.5s

I'd you install 6" subs you will have to do some redesign, I drilled a 2â…›hole in both box's on the right and left side and put a piece of 2" pvc 4" long, and let me tell you it's like having 10" in my truck. 4.5 stars

Make sure you install this properly. Blaupunkt GTX650 has hardware in the box that can be used in car door or in this enclosure properly (see photos). Paired with 120W Blaupunkt GTX650 it sounds very well for car speaker. I used Prozor class D amplifier (elsewhere on Amazon) that has tri-band equalizer and this speakers in this large enclosure (make sure it is PRB version - not PRC as specification seems to be incorrect and it is larger than PRB), it makes quite precise sound for car speaker. Well it is 4-way Blaupunkt with plenty of power. Prozor amplifier could not use it to full power capacity, but at half it sounded smooth and loud with bass not vibrating. Tested on different type of music. You will have fun in car, RV or simply in open space listening to jazz, rock, industrial rock, ballads or dance. There is no boombox effect (I would put port if I wanted this or simply fabricated box from large PVC, but that was not my goal). I would definitely recommend this enclosure (thi is the largest model for single 6.5inch speakers for this manufacturer). The only con is that material smells a bit of something like charcoal, but I assume that it will go away in time with use.

I have bought several sets of these. I would recommend them. They are decent quality. Ship very fast and work well.

Not sure what the complaints are about the holes being too big or too small. I have 6†speakers. Needed only 51/2†holes. This was the closest I could find so the opening was a little big. I used two under counter sink clamps on one side and two screws into the box on the other. Will use the 45 degree angle of the boxes to mount in place of the original speaker mounted place of above my RV windshield.

My complaints: 1) Since when does the front of the box have an ugly metal plate advertising their brand name and web address??!! That was NOT in any of the many images they have of the product. MISLEADING! 2) Manufacturer needs to make the opening about 1/4 inch smaller in diameter. I used"T-nuts" and as you can see in pic #1, it barely has enough room to fit in the very small amount of space between the edge and where the screws need to go. 3) that ugly "B-Box" plate they glue to the front is also too big as it ran under my speaker (pic #2). I was concerned it might result in vibration, so pulled it off (not easy). They use serious glue and as you can see in pic #3, removing it tore the material off the front and left a huge glue mark. Two solutions: snip the corner off the metal B-Box plate (pic #4), or pull it off and cover it with a same (or close) colored fabric as I did in pic #5.Positives: otherwise nice speaker boxes; solid build, real copper wires between the posts and where you attach to your speakers. I haven't hooked to my stereo yet, so cannot comment on the sound quality.

Quite happy with the enclosures. Would have been nice to have a generic mounting hardware. Had to scramble through my collection of wood screws to find ones that would work. No biggy, but a mounting kit would be appreciated, I'm sure.
