I don't do a TON of BBQing, but this kit was too hard to pass us. While it's a bit of a novelty, it makes a great gift for the BBQ enthusiast (particularly a sauce enthusiast) among your family and friends. The silicon brush is pretty standard-issue, and the itty-bitty cast iron can be fun for warming up sauce, melting butter (for seafood, steak, etc.). The mops themselves (there are many in the kit) are perhaps the most novelty-esque of the group. I know some folks live and die by them, but they aren't my cup of tea. As others have mentioned, the mop threads tend to absorb a lot of sauce, are a pain to clean, and risk getting fibers in your food. But for those that love them, these mops are good as any!

This BBQ mop brush set is really great quality and it works fantastic. It's well made and the craftsmanship is really nice. I got this for my son and he loves it.

This mop brush set is perfect! The cast iron cup is large enough to hold plenty of sauce for mopping onto the meat. Whether it comes pre-seasoned or not, I always season my cast iron before using it. I recommend the same for everyone else, especially since there’s no mention of it being seasoned. There is a basting brush included, but the really cool thing was including two differently-sized brush handles. There have been many times when I’ve wanted my brush to be longer or shorter, so having both of these will be very useful. The mops themselves are great! There’s a difference between glazing, basting, and mopping, and if you want to mop the sauce onto your food, you’ll want mops just like this. There are also four extra mops, and that really puts this set over the top. For this price (currently $24.99), I can’t imagine a better value.

The cast iron sauce pan is great - not just for BBQ, but any time you want to warm up a small amount of something (gravy, a side of vegetables, etc.).Capacity is 1 cup (8 ounces).They don't say if it's pre-seasoned. But this is traditional cast iron - I would recommend seasoning it, and caring for it like any other cast iron pan.The silicone basting brush is just a basic brush you'd see in any store.I'm just not a fan of these mop-style brushes. They're a little sloppy, a little wasteful (a lot sauce gets left in the brushes), and I don't like the idea of getting threads in my food. Some people love them, though.The handles are good, though, and compatible with other tools (kitchen or otherwise).
