I’m a Music teacher with a Masters degree in Education. I gifted my friends’ first baby with this instrument for a number of reasons. 1) the quality of the sound- it’s not a “rainbow colored toy on wheels†from Walmart. Even an infant will prefer this sound to a toy. 2) the baby will not outgrow this toy and it may even become a treasured toy for their own child one day 3) parents and siblings love playing on it and their musical learning will be a family experience. 4) the first sense organ to develop is the ear, in utero. Listening to beautiful sounds matters. 5) when baby is old enough to use the mallets, it will help with dexterity 6) can’t beat the price!

I regret selling this to another music teacher as I figured when I left teaching group classes I might not need anymore, however, feel that I still could use. It was a wonderful tool with kids of all ages!

great sound, stair thingy is collapsible so that's good. the sound boxes on each note are plastic, so I'm not sure how durable they will be, but overall for the money, great deal, great product.

I love the sound of these bells. Especially in a song that’s in the key of D. If you put a bunch together they sound wonderful.

I bought these for my three year old granddaughter who loves making music. The size, heft and durability are impressive and the sound is absolutely beautiful. Each bell is on a sturdy base so they won't tip over while she is playing with them. There is a nifty carrying case which makes it easy to transport the set back and forth to music class or grandma's house. The set comes with 8 mallets so she can play with friends, her teacher, or mom and dad. I wish that a music book came with the set but I bet I can find one with a little looking. I am very pleased with this purchase and I know it will hold up for many years of use.
