Looks like real one and way cheaper and worth the price.

I bought an Icom ID-50 a few weeks ago and saw this so thought I'd pick it up. It works great. From dead to fully charged 8.1V it took about 3 hours 20 minutes to fully charge the stock Icom BP-272 battery. It comes with the charging cable as well, unlike Icom where you buy the cradle and cable separately. The wall wart has a 12V output which means you can use either the wall wart, or plug the cradle into a 12V power supply and you are charging. I just charged my battery with this cradle using a LiFePO4 battery that is 13.2 Volts and it worked perfectly. I have also not noticed any stray RFI on my Icom 7610 when this is charging either. It's RF quiet, much cheaper than Icom's charger, and charges the battery about an our and a half quicker than the radios USB-C or 12V input. Very happy with this charger.

I have an authentic Icom charger and wanted an extra one to travel with me in addition to my 'home' charger. This Karier BC-202 charger certainly looks like it came out of the same mold that creates the authentic Icom charger...but they are not identical. If you look at my pics the actual Icom charger is on the left and the Karier is on the right. Even the plastic base on both has molded into the body the words "ORANGE:CHARGE" and the words "GREEN:FULL"In actual practice however that is only true on the Icom charger. The Karier has a red charge light which seems to switch to alternating 'Red-Green' for some time before finally going full green. The weight of the Karier is noticeably lighter as well. The Karier unit and wall wort weigh 5.35 oz. vs 7.37 oz. on the authentic Icom charger. As you can see from the pics the ferrite choke on the Icom unit is noticably larger as well. I have not as yet experienced any noticable RF hash on my system from either unit but checking both with a portable AM radio in close proximity they seemed to be about equal in the level of noise they generate although the noise from the Karier was of a higher pitch. I will use it as a backup but being the nervous nellie I am with high priced equipment will be removing my battery from the Icom radio while charging it in the Karier unit.
