2011 6.7L F350 faulty westgate vacuum solenoid replaced with new one and problem resolved. How long will it last is unknown. I did notice that my VGT turbo growls a bit now on acceleration whereas before it was not. Seems to be more responsive. Will be monitoring performance. No check engine light to alert me it was failing.

My F350 was making a loud buzzing noise when shut off, researched it and found this part could have been the culprit, I went ahead and replaced the part and no more noise. I also while I had it apart took some time to clean off the grim stuck inside the EGR Pipe.

This part cleared my code. This part from ford, Oriellys and AutoZone are in back order. I needed something. So far truck is running fine and code P1249 has cleared.It’s been 7 months and this part is surprising still holding up.

The part was faulty and I didn't realize it, so I spent a great deal of money replacing other parts to resolve check engine light problem because I had already replaced this part. Turns out it was this part all along. A costly mistake not to buy an OEM part.

Needed to replace the wastegate solenoid on our 2012 Ford F350 Diesel Dually. Hubby is a pretty good mechanic even if he isn't "certified". He was able to do this a lot cheaper than a shop would charge. Yes, I know they need to make money, but, living on a fixed income, we have to eat also. Glad Amazon could help us with this purchase.
