I call this chair my "Camper". It's sturdy and keeps the sun and light rain off of you. It's definitely worth the money, and I plan to purchase a few more for the rest of the family. Very comfortable. Easy to fold up and easy to deploy.

Great at keeping the sun rays off of us during our vending gigs. Lightweight...love the width of the seat...makes it comfortable. Purchased two.

So far, I've unboxed the chair, set it up, and say in it for about 5 minutes. It was very intuitive. I did not need any instructions to set up the chair. The seat was comfortable for the 5 minutes that I was testing it out for. The chair is wide enough if small children want to sit in the adult's lap, subject to the total weight capacity for the chair. I will update my review once I use it this weekend for more than an hour. For now, I'm happy with the weight, sturdiness, and functionality of the chair.

I purchased this chair to make things more comfortable when attending kid activities, such as field hockey games, swim meets, or going to the beach with the family since I do not like to be in direct sunlight for long. This chair I would say checks most of my boxes; however, there are ways it can be improved.1. The canopy when up, has two bars I saw others mention move a lot sideways, causing the canopy to round out more reducing visibility. One individual created themselves a little wooden bracket to act as a brace to keep them spread apart. Having something built into the chair natively would be nice to keep the canopy wide.2. The side fold down flaps with mesh. These are a nice touch and were one reason I went with this chair over some others; however, one thing that would be a nice improvement is to have more of the oxford canvas material on the inside that can be rolled/folded up and secured with velcro or a clip and then released and rolled down to cover the mesh in case the sun is low in the sky and coming in under the canopy, from the side.3. The arms to be metal bars, similar to some other folding camping chairs that we currently own (they don't have a canopy), but the solid arms covered with soft material is far nicer than the canvas arms on this chair. Not a show stopper, and more of a preference since I've used the other chairs we've owned for years and love them.4. It would be great if a foot rest that slides out or something could be included to stretch out. Again, not a show stopper, but it would be nice.5. Lastly, a larger cup holder, something large enough to be able to hold a water bottle, which this one will not do. This cup holder is better suited for something like a red solo cup. Now, with the above stated, I so far love the chair. I plan to use it in an upcoming vacation to the beach and am looking forward to it, making it a bit more bearable for me.

If you live anywhere the sun can fry you, get this chair.I've purchased multiple canopy chairs over the years. Some barely survive a year. All of them required constant readjusting to avoid getting baked alive.4 months in, thru one of the hottest summers on record, and I LOVE this thing! The top is NOT some flimsy fabric, but it's actually thick poly nestled between TWO layers of heavy duty canvas. It curves down on the sides and extends to cover your knees in the front.Plus, it has roll down flaps (top part screened for breeze and vision) on both sides and the back. They provide shade as you need no matter where the sun is.It's sturdy. Like EXCEPTIONALLY sturdy with a sufficiently wide, comfortable seat.It has a neat way of folding up too.The top slides down the back and the rest of the chair folds and fits into it with handy backpack for straps for carrying ease. One word of warning. The top is very solid. So if it's windy (gusts over 15 mph) and you leave it outside, it WILL fly backwards.Still..10/10 would highly recommend.

I absolutely love my Olding Camping Chair with Shade Canopy! It has been my go-to for summer activities like outdoor festivals, beach days, and even backyard lounging. The built-in canopy provides excellent shade, so I don’t have to worry about direct sunlight. It’s also easy to adjust, ensuring maximum comfort no matter the time of day.The chair itself is sturdy yet lightweight, making it super easy to carry and set up. It also comes with a cup holder, which is a great added convenience. The breathable material keeps me cool, and the overall design is comfortable for long sitting sessions. If you're looking for a reliable, comfortable, and portable chair with shade, this is a must-have. It's a fantastic blend of convenience and comfort—ideal for summer fun!

Favorite chair to sit for sports games. Easy to carry. It is light weight and carry like a backpack. Good build and quality. Easy to prop up and fold down. Would purchase again.

I love the fact that it’s comfortable , has the canopy to protect me from the sun and the side panels are great to keep the sun out ! It took me a little bit to figure out how to close it back up but once I figured it out it was easy to put away . The only negative thing I can say is that it’s a little heavy so if you are walking far be aware it starts feeling heavy ! The quality is great , it’s really sturdy and comfy .

I spoke to seller at time of purchase, told them I needed them by the 16th no later ,as I had a outdoor concert booked , didn’t turn up till 19th , sat in heavy rain and wind for hour and a half. Chair is very uncomfortable, and not worth half of what I paid. Very disappointed, never had a issue with Amazon before, this not the sort of service expected
