I don’t do a lot of reviews, but this pop up tent was perfect for our trip to secluded beaches in Puerto Rico. Cost is absolutely incomparable to the competition. I was not willing to drop $200 like others, but this price point was enough to risk and I’m glad we took a chance. Size is perfect and it was able to fit in my carryon (we moved included spikes into checked bag for safety). Setup was super easy, especially after doing it the first time. By the end of the trip we could put it up and take it down in minutes. Material is stretchy and works really well, even in high winds. San bags are sturdy and it comes with a beach scoop/shovel to fill them.This is an unpaid, uncompensated review. Seriously made our vacation 10x better, allowing us to explore some remote locations.

I had high hopes for this EasierHike sunshade so that I wouldn't have to pay the big bucks for the Shibumi. But alas, there is no free lunch. This sunshade worked fine when there was no wind, though it was much harder to set up than I thought it would be. It was also much heavier than I thought it would be. The material is very strong - but I guess the tradeoff is a lighter weight.The problem came when there was wind - as there is so often on the beach. We could not get the tail end of this sunshade to just stay put. It kept whipping up and down and hitting us on the head no matter how wide we staked it out, no matter which angle we tried.I ended up ordering the $$$$ Shibumi to be delivered to the beachhouse and using that the rest of our vacation. It was lightweight, much easier to set up, and worked with the wind. And not once did it hit us in the head (the material flapped, but it was high over our head instead of down near the sand as the EasierHike Sunshade was). I'll still use the sunshade someplace I'm sure - but probably not on the beach.-------------------------------------------------------EDIT ON SEPTEMBER 20, 2022--------------------------------------------------------Allow me to say that this vendor is really responsive. They contacted me and offered a full refund!!!! Not many vendors take such a proactive approach, and even fewer would put $$$ into customer service. I would definitely do business with this vendor again, and changed my rating from 2 to 4 stars based upon their customer service.

We tried a similar beach tarp a few years ago and could not get it to stay up in the strong beach breeze. We were spending the week on the beach and needed some type of covering. We were flying and a beach umbrella was too long for my suitcase. I was doubtful to try a tarp again however this one had good ratings. I mailed it straight to our condo. The first day my husband took it to the beach alone and tried to put it up. It took him about an hour to read the instructions, interpret them, what was the long cord vs the short ones etc. After a while and a dip in the ocean the tarp was up. It stayed all day no issues. By the end of the week he had mastered the put up each day and was down to 10 minutes flat. Not bad for one person alone. The tarp worked out great for our trip and was very easy to fold back in the carrying case and easily fit in the extra suitcase with all the floats and other water essentials we had added to our collection for the week. It is light weight and the carry bag it fits into is small.I highly recommend this product the difference is it has 6 Tie downs with sand bags instead of 4 ropes as others do. A small shovel is also included to fill the sand bags.

I’ve owned this product for one year and give it a solid fail. If you go to the beach in a warehouse without any wind, this MIGHT work. But real beaches have real wind with varying wind speeds and directions. This just can’t handle it. Poor design with only 2 poles for the size of the fabric. The tow poles aren’t sufficient to support it, so it bows and caves to the wind. Don’t waste your money on what is essentially a very expensive drop cloth.

Es de muy buen material y protege muy bien de los rayos solares! Es muy fácil de instalar y trae todo para que tu experiencia al ponerla sea bastante fácil y práctica! Resiste muy bien las rachas de aire, lo único es que hay que llenar bien las bolsas de sujeción con bastante arena! Muy recomendable y realmente en su sombra disminuye bastante el calor y protege de los rayos UV

Cumplio la expectativa muy bien.Al principio da trabajo la instalacion.Con el uso, vas haciendo las cosas en orden, y se van facilitando las cosas.Me justo mucho que puedas modificar la inclinación de la tela conforme el sol cambia de posición obteniendo la misma cantidad de sobra.El hecho de que tenga su bolsa para transporte lo hace practico.

Hacia un viento muy fuerte, nos toco ver varios toldos volar y este resistió a los fuertes vientos, definitivamente lo mejor y muy fácil de armar.Está perfecto para dos personas.Súper recomendable
