I used these bulbs to replace the headlights on my Yamaha FZ1. The OEM lights just weren't amazing. The difference between the factory units and the BeamTech bulbs is amazing. I can actually see well down the road, and better to the sides as well. The bulbs seem to work well with the reflector design, and the pattern on low beam seems to work very well without blinding oncoming traffic. The water seals on the factory bulbs won't stretch over the larger heat sinks without a huge fight, but if you put them on the bulbs from the front before putting the bulb in, installation is a breeze. 10 minutes tops.I am looking into buying another set for my cars soon. Great lights and a low price!

As everyone says the lamps arrived quickly and were packaged well. I was doing a complete headlight assembly replacement so it was very easy to install the new lamps on the new headlights. With the passenger side connected the lamp worked correctly, the high beam indicator lit on the dash, and the fog lights functioned properly. However, after I installed the driver's side lamp the lights misbehaved. It was daytime so I could not tell if the beams were lit properly. As night fell I determined that I had to have the fog lights switched on in order to get the lamps to shine on low beam. The high beam indicator did not light and I could not turn them on using the turn indicator.I had read a number of comments about these lamps and the great customer service from the seller so I was expecting an issue to arise. I communicated with the seller through Amazon and yesterday I installed the resistor wiring harnesses they sent me very quickly. It took me a couple of hours to attached them to the rear of my radiator core support, and except for seeing some rivets on the core support, you would never know they are there. Yes, they do get hot quickly so that is why they tell you to attach them to metal and not plastic parts. After re-installing my headlight assemblies it was test time and everything functions properly. The low beams come on, the high beam switch works and the high beams light, the indicator on the dash lights, and the for lights work with the low beams like they are supposed to.I am extremely pleased with my decision to purchase BEAMTECH LED lamps for my truck and I am also extremely pleased with the customer support provided by this seller. If you are thinking of buying LED's for your vehicle definitely buy from this seller. I was so impressed with the lamps that I have even upgraded my 99 Chevy C2500 to BEAMTECH 9005 & 9006 lamps. I will recommend them to anyone I know who asks!!

Great product. Good build quality, appropriate packaging. Works exactly as it should. Good light output for what it is. Not the brightest ever, but passively cooled so that's expected. Installed the H4/9003 version easily in our older Ford Focus reflector housings. I love how they come apart, makes it easily possible to install the base in this housing with the clips, then lock the bulb in afterwards.Perfect beam pattern (the same as halogen anyway, normal reflector pattern). One spring clip did come unhooked while I was installing the dust cover. This was evident in the pattern, very scattered, locked it back down and it all came into focus. Shows how key exact LED placement is on these lamps to emulate the halogen pattern. Color was as expected, not much difference with the 6K LEDs in my other vehicle.Fit inside these housings fine and original dust covers went back on no problem. You'd never get the longer lamps with fans in there like this. Plenty of room to tuck the wiring connector as well. Took all of 10 minutes to install, no tools needed. Can't say much better than that. I'd buy again, as long as they last at least as long as a halogen would have.

I would rate this product a 4 stars due to limited instructions and I do understand it is a universal install and aftermarket so it doesn't always fit like OEM. The brightness of the light seemed better than my hids that I had on.I just installed them so my only concern is the rubber dust cover that goes into the light bulbs themselves are right at the heat sink so I'm a bit worried that it might melt the rubber dust cover once they've been on for a while. Time will tell on this.It is a true plug and play but installing them at first was a bit tricky. Now, this is for the cube.1. removed the round plastic shield from the bulbs, then install into the housing first then clip the metal clip onto it.2. put the bulbs into the rubber housing then insert into the plastic shield and from the 11 o'clock position then twist clockwise till it locks in. It took me a while to figure out how to get the whole thing in but I hope this helps someone.beam tech was rated second best lights overall on youtube reviews but best overall for price and beam structure. The things I liked about the leds, ballast was all built in so one small piece vs some that have a separate ballast making it bulky like hids. I also liked the color of the leds pure white, really nice vs most hids being bluish. If I have any complaints wish it was just a bit brighter, I will adjust the headlights maybe that'll help.Overall for the price it's a good product.

Llevo 2 años de uso con estos focos, excelente iluminación.Le quedaron perfecto a mi Honda FIT 2019. Los faros originales parecían velas comparados con la intensidad de estos.Una compra excelente.

Installed in a few minutes in my 2014 Honda Ridgeline, easy. Replaced a pair of fan-cooled lamps with round Cree emitters from another manufacturer, that were junk. The raw light output was more (when they worked), but the low beam cutoff was so undefined I had to aim them way low to avoid blinding oncoming drivers. And they started to die after 18 months. With my driving schedule, that's only about 200 hours! So I decided to try the Beamtech. Nice price, and fanless. It was down to Beamtech or Philips at over double the price. The Beamtech pattern is a close match to the legacy H4. Nice sharp low beam cutoff, so I was able to aim them back up where they should be. The light output is less than the 18 month old Auxbeams (when they worked) that they replaced. But the Beamtech puts the light where you want it, and is still way brighter than a tungsten halogen H4. The beam pattern and intensity are very close to what I get from my 2019 Freightliner Cascadia work truck with stock factory LED headlights, and I like that. Can't comment on longevity/reliability, I've only been running them for about a month. I like that they are fanless. No noisy high-rpm fans to fail, and no external ballast, they are totally self-contained. I measured about a 40 degree C temperature rise on the heatsinks after a half hour on full high beam parked. So at around 10 C /50 F ambient, the exposed heatsinks were at 50 C / 120 F. Seems reasonable. Time will tell, but for now, after a few weeks, I really like them.
