The lower part of the feeder needs to be a solid color to obscure the feeders moving around in the bottom. The reptiles snap at the bottom because they can see the feeders moving around. Also instead of holes for the feeders to try and climb the back. Straight lines would have been better or even smaller and larger qty of holes.

This is great for my dumpy frogs. I blocked out the bottom panel with electrical tape so the frogs only see the roaches going up the back. They were locking in on the roaches that they could see through the bottom panel.I noticed the smaller roaches can’t climb up the pre drilled holes so I threaded some kitchen food yarn through some of the holes across half of the feeder. This worked out perfectly and allows all the roaches to climb big and small.

Not recommended for lizards. Since they are completely see through, bearded dragons (I have 7) have a difficult time realizing that the bugs are inside a container, they keep trying to get the bugs through the container. Also, not great for larger lizards as they have a difficult time getting bugs on the bottom of feeder.

My beardie had a had time reaching the roaches if they were on the bottom. The roaches did not climb on the back wall as I had hoped so he could reach them better.

Edges weren't fully sealed. Was easy to decorate (bonus) Had to seal back suction cup holes. Baby bugs escaped through wall holes. Terrified of escapees and infestation I gave it away.
