Wow! This grey reptile mat substrate for the bottom of my terrarium is great. I did have to cut it down for my baby beardie tank, however, it is so easy to clean with my F10 products and maintain. After a couple modifications, I'm very pleased. To ensure a better fit, I trimmed off the corners a little. Then, I created a small, tape tab (behind the cave hide so my baby beardie can't access it) so I can easily pull it out of his terrarium. As someone else kindly noted, this mat does keep the terrarium warmer to the point where I also no longer needed the heat pad under the rock/basking side, just the basking lamp. The mat is thin, looks neat, is durable and has a fairly high level of heat resistance, so should last many years of daily beardie use! I believe this mat will be a more eco friendly and easily maintained part of all my future reptile set ups. 💖🦎💗 Other than that, I would like the seller to list what the material is, EVA, Silicone, etc.?2/27/205 Update: The liner is very thin so I'd prefer it be a bit thicker and have padding underneath, like Zen Habitats mats. I don't do the tape tab anymore. I cut off the corners and can jut lift one up. Clean up is still pretty easy and convenient. Deep cleaning is a bit of a process, as I do F10 spraying and usually air drying over a hanger in the shower. So I may try another brand in the future. We shall see.

It’s nice you just have to make sure your always cleaning the poop up from your bearded dragon so he’s not stepping in it,

This has pleasantly surprised me since I started using it in my leopard gecko’s tank a couple of months ago. It does hold heat very well so recheck your temps after lights/heating have been on for a while, I didn’t even need a heat mat anymore. It is also super easy to clean calcium and waste off of. I was worried my leopard gecko would not have enough grip, but the surface provides enough texture that he has no trouble moving around.
