I have an older design manual drive ball joint separator - and my neighbor who used to run a tool store told me he had pickle forks. So he showed me what he had - and I decided that I needed a set. Once again I like tool sets like this that come in a case.You need an air hammer to use some of these pickle forks, luckily I happen to have one. I did use one of the pickle forks not long ago and it worked just fine.The tools feel solid and sturdy and do the job they were designed to do.I do think this kit is worth the price of admission.

I used the part that screws into the fork and slips into air hammer on the tierod on the third tierod the threads broke off into the fork and still didnot seperate the tierod had to finish the rest of the entire frontend by hand!!!! I would not recomend this Item to anyone
