These poles are very good quality and able to hold a heavy bird feeder, holding up great even with big winds. Great product and worth paying a little more for this product (which I surmise should last for many years) rather than getting a flimsy hollow pole which costs a little less but fails in a matter of months. Buy it if you want QUALITY.

package arrived beat up, with the product poking out of the box in a couple areas, but the product was 100% undamaged.these things are strong. i used a hammer+block of wood to help pound one into dense ground, and there was no damage.with the base fully inserted into ground, theyre stable.solid metal. no complaints.

These Beau Jardin 2-pack 92 inch tall Shepherds Hooks are solidly constructed and not flimsy. Will have these for many years to come. Much nicer than anything I've seen in the big box stores or in local garden centers.

They are very tall which I wanted and they are not cheaply painted powder coat but are solid black steel. No rust, no problems. Highly recommend!

Needed a very tall shepherd's hook to hold a baffle and keep the squirrels at bay. This is tall, solid, and just what I needed. Great price for 2 pieces. Overall extremely pleased with this purchase!

I like how heavy duty these are, but the area next to my driveway has compacted road base and gravel, so I will have to use a hammer and spike to open the holes they will go in.Then I can string my Christmas lights.

I don't have a micrometer or a metric drill bit index assuming they're made in China so I used my standard drill index. 2/5 inch was stated. Bottom slipped into my 25/64th inch drill bit slot. It would not fit into the 3/8th (24/64th) slot. So it is probably metric in dimension. It is 36 inches in TOTAL LENGTH but I measured 26 1/2 inches from the belly of shepherds hook where your hanger would sit on to the top of horizontal cross piece that stays above or even with the ground to keep it from twisting. So if you measure the bottom of the hook of your planter to the bottom of your planter and subtract that from 26 1/2 inches that is how far off the ground your planter will be. Hope that helps. These hangers are one solid piece,heavy,full welds (no gaps) and will last forever. If this seller has this hanger in taller versions I would expect the same quality. I would give these hangers 10 stars if I could. They are that well made.
