I have a lot of elbow nerve problems such as carpal tunnel syndrome and ulnar nerve tingling from bending my elbows too much -- very common problem for desk workers. These are probably the best purchase I've made to improve my work life. They attached to the chair arms very easily and feel very soft and durable. I haven't attempted to wash them before so not sure how they'll feel after that but for now after a couple of weeks of using it they're great. No weird smell either.

I gave a pinched nerve in my neck that causes excruciating pain when working at a computer. This support my arms at the perfect hight that prevents pain while working at a desk on a computer…. Even during an 11 hour work day. I had zero pain!!!!! Don’t know if it will help there but for me it was the best purchase I could have made to prevent my pain.

It is soft and comfortable to the touch, so your arms won't feel sore even after extended periods of use. The material is also easy to clean which is a bonus.I would add though, that these armrest pads are best suited for people who rely heavily on armrests whilst working or gaming. If, like myself, you don't usually rest your arms on armrests, then this may be a pointless purchase for you. I generally tend to rest my arms on my laps or cross them, which is my preferred working style. They work great on my armrest. When I first purchased my chair the arms were very low for me and not padded enough, these raise it to the level I need and are very padded which make it so comfortable. They stay put and are easy to just put on pull the velcro and there you go. :)

My chair arms have very small backsides which causes them to slip off constantly, though the bigger issue for me is that they are too high. They're comfortable for sitting, but if you are working at your desk or playing games it feels awkward and I bump them constantly with my elbows. Quality is nice and all but I've moved back to my old armrest pads, just bought new ones.

I got these for my spouses ergonomic chair as he games a lot. I've tried them a few times myself and we both enjoy the comfortableness they give to our elbows. They're very thick, squishy, and breathable. The only issue I've found is the velcro that hold them to the chair arms can snag your clothes or be abrasive on your skin so you have to make sure to either cut down the excess or tuck them in somehow if you want the extra adjustability. It's a very good purchase for us though.

My elbows were getting bruised and sore so I found these arm pads and they work great. They have velcro straps on each end of the pad. No slippage and very comfortable. BTW mine are not the velvet cover ones if that helps you to decide.

I've developed tennis elbow and the semi-rigid armrests on my office chair will aggravate them over a few hours to the point that I wrapped a few micro-fiber towels around them to make them softer and ease the pain. I saw these gel armrests and thought I would give them a try.Installation was quite easy. It took a few tries to get them positioned where they felt the best. Some reviews have said the armrests slip or move around. I did not have that issue, they were snug and tight on the chair armrests after I secured them with the velcro bands. The issue I did have is that the black sides of the gel armrests I feel don't have enough rigidity, and I mean just the sides. Sometimes it feels like the gel armrests are slipping, but it's just that they bend more so it gives you the illusion that they are slipping off the chair armrests. Anyway, I just found a way to position my elbows so that it lessened that feeling. I've only had them for a day, but I was able to have my elbows on the rests the entire day and had no pain, which is a big plus. I'll revise my review if things change.

I bought these because I was having pain my my mouse hand wrist. I tried other things to alleviate the pain but nothing worked.I tried these and within a few days my pain was gone. I was worried about the mesh feeling scratchy but it does not irritate my skin and is very soft. They are a nice firm, but soft, cushion that has good support. They were quick to install. I just cut off the excess Velcro with scissors. They stay firmly in their place and I never have to readjust them.My only real "complaint" is that they look a little silly but I knew what I was purchasing when I ordered them.5/5. I feel that the quality is good and they will last a very long time. But if I ever need to purchase again for some reason, I would do so.

Well padded and useful to give you a better resting point for your arms, the Only down side is with my chairs arm they move a bit freely even when strapped down
