I bought a UTV on which someone previously added a momentary switch to the dashboard. You had to press the switch while turning the key to start it. Turns out, this simple and inexpensive 'switch' sensor needed to be replaced. Now, I can just depress the brake as the engineers intended. This restored that safety step, and was so much more of a simple solution than their wired/drilled/ extra component workaround. This part was an exact form, fit, and function replacement for the original.

this switch does not say it will work on a harley sportster but it does. used it to replace the one on my sons 2009 sportster 1200. way cheaper than any of the replacements that say they do. no issues so far.
