I bought these for an upcoming knee surgery. I have been using them for two weeks now on my Lazy Boy recliner and have had no movement. They were easy to install and fit just fine. I was concerned that my recliner may slide around but the functionality of these risers have proven to be safe and stable. I will have zero issue getting up and down while on crutches and will not have to bear any weight on the surgery knee.

I am 6 ft 4 inches tall and this causes the top of my things to hit on and slide against the bottom of my desk's middle drawer. So I found these risers that are broad, stable and can handle a lot of weight and glad I tried them. It is a 3" rise. The desk was full and had all my computer system on top and was too heavy for me to lift myself and use my foot to slide the risers under the corners of my desk. Most my coworkers are busy during the day including myself, so not convenient to get some one to help. So after work hours I found this dolly, stuck under the side edge of the desk leaned way back to jack up the outside end of the desk, then used my foot to tap the riser under the corners. Then use the dolly to jack up one corner by wall, got he riser under it, then tipped the desk a bit to get the back riser by the wall in. Then I could lift somewhat on my own to relieve pressure on the risers and tap with foot or other hand to centralize risers under corners. Works great ! But now I might need to change my monitor stands or remove them cause to high for central viewing of my eyes. Glad I got these work horse risers. Real strong.

These were used to give my couch a lift. They are constructed strong and look wonderful. No problem with people sitting on the couch it queen sized. No slipping or sliding. Very pleased with this product.

Waiting for knee replacment surgery and getting up from my small recliner hurt! The 3" risers lifted my chair to a perfect height. I used removable picture mounting putty to hold them in place, so I could turn the chair over, place the risers, and turn it back over without them moving. The grip on the bottom of each riser prevents any unwanted movement of the chair on my rug. Perfection in form and function!

Maybe it's the bed frame that I use but my biggest issue is that almost any sideways movement can cause these to slant and drop a corner of the bed which is annoying. When that isn't happening though they provide wonderful elevation for extra under the bed storage, no worries about them not handling the weight or really anything else. YMMV but overall good with the caveat of slipping on the side because of their height and not having a wider base.

Sturdy risers with a longer surface and edging that worked beautifully to raise my mom’s old recliner. The Dr did not want her to have a lift chair (one that lifted her up standing position ) and she was struggling to get up from this recliner. I tried cushions which really didn’t help anymore (she’s 96 and we keep trying things to keep her home safely). This lift was perfect and has made her life so much easier!

My husband's recliner sat too low making his bad knees at an angle that he could barely get up. Doctor advised against a lift chair. These INSTANTLY made all the difference in his ease of standing up from his chair! He's a big man with a big heavy chair and there was no doubt that they could hold the weight. It was bumped once and almost knocked them out from under the chair. We removed the little chair feet and using the same bolt, went through the top of the blocks and anchored them onto the chair frame. SO glad I got these!
