I installed this in a 2003 Jeep Wrangler TJ. There are plenty of videos online for instruction, but it also comes with paper instructions, and it's so easy it's almost self-explanatory. They say you don't need to remove the seats, but I had already taken them out to take care of some rust, so I can't speak to how that may have affected installation. In my situation, the interior had previously been sprayed with a bedliner. In order to ensure good adhesion of the 3M strips, I stripped those select areas using CitriStrip. Since the tailgate wouldn't see as much human contact, rather than strip it, I utilized 3M Adhesion Promoter on the bedliner. That allowed the hook and loop strips to adhere fairly well. Although it is staying attached, there is one end that has separated a little. I would definitely recommend sticking them to the metal if at all possible. If for no other reason, the adhesion promoter is very expensive.Anyway, it took me a little longer than I initially anticipated, but I attribute much of that to my perfectionism as well. The final result is a much improved aesthetic, less heat in the cab, and a quieter ride.

This is my 2nd kit I have bought. It's a nice carpet kit. The only draw back is the sticky side of the Velcro when it gets cold it will not stick.I recommend taking the seats out before you try to install it. Makes the job a lot easier.I've also have tried using my heat gun to see if that would help it stick better by warming up the metal where your going to stick it. It helped some but still have areas that don't.

I loved the simplicity of the setup, how snug the fit was everywhere. And the overall look of these carpeting is very clean and makes my jeep look brand new again.

Could not be happier with how this turned out. Fit was great and aligned very well and quality seemed satisfactory to me. I like the clean look and color was perfect to match interior. Does require a little cutting and thinking through but you won't be disappointed if you take your time and have some patience with it. Little pricey but we'll worth it over cheaper options that dont look as form fitted as the Bedrug brand.

The carpet in my 15 yr old TJ was well worn. The BedRug was very easy to install as a replacement and it certainly brought new life to the interior. Even though the BedRug is quite thin, I believe it will as durable as the original factory carpet, as it was quite thin, also. I recommend the product and I would repurchase when applicable.
