2-way normally closed solenoid valve is to control On/Off of air and inert gas. This solenoid valve has one 1/4" inch NPT inlet and one 1/4" inch NPT outlet port. Valve stays close when the coil is de-energized- and it opens when energized. Has two holes in the bottom and can be mounted in any position.
Solenoid Valve Installation Instructions
- Clean and rinse the impurities in the pipeline before installation;The thread should be wound with Teflon Tape. Be careful not to drop the debris into the pipeline to prevent blocking the solenoid valve.
- When installing, keep the arrow direction on the valve body consistent with the flow direction of the medium;If there is reverse pressure, a check valve shall be installed.
- In order to ensure and extend the service life of the solenoid valve, the installation should be horizontal, the coil is vertical up, not vertical or backward installation.
- After the solenoid valve coil outlet wire (connector) is connected, it should be confirmed that whether the contact of electrical components should be firmly connected should not shake, looseness will cause the solenoid valve not to work.
- Solenoid valves that are out of service for a long time should be cleaned of impurity condensation before use.
- Solenoid valves are not suitable for fluids under the following conditions: A.Changing into a liquid by heating and into a solid by cooling; B.Viscosity greater than CST50.

I bought this for my CO2 Laser. It allowed me to control the air flow from the electronic board. Before installing the air would be constantly on! This product same in well packaged and has worked as intended! Would recommend!

I have ordered 3 now 1st worked so well that I ordered a 2nd the 2nd has a defected seal so I got another not worth the time and trouble over returning for 10 dollars.

I am using this to control an air horn and it works great. I expected a delay from the time I tap the horn button for the horn to blast but this is instant! I am running it at around 120 psi and it has been flawless so far. I am surprised at just how well it works given the price.

This thing was crazy loud the moment I plugged it in. Much louder than the air pump for my aquarium. I wouldn't even consider using this, it would be like adding a loud erratic buzzing sound to your life. I'm amazed I don't see a lot of people complaining about it, it may be that mine is defective, but I wouldn't try again.
