Beduan Plastic mufflers uses rugged polyethylene housing with polyvinyl foam element. It is compact, light weight and highly effective for noise reduction without excessive back pressure.
Elements can be easily cleaned with kerosene or similar cleaning solvent. All models are furnished with standard male pipe threads.
Unit should be mounted in a protective position free from excessive vibration , Hand tighten only.

My air compressor is very quiet, but the auto drain scares the bejesus out of me every time. This completely fixed the problem. You can barely hear the drain over the compressor now. I have no idea about longevity. I got the 10-pack just in case and it was cheap. Great product even if I need to replace it once a month!

If you get a bag of a dozen or so and change them once a month, I suppose that would work, but they start to clog up quickly. Air flow coming out when draining is severely limited. When that air comes out at a good flow, it takes a lot of moisture with it. When it is a trickle as these turn into after a few weeks, it's keeping your tank a lot more damp than it could be. Change these regularly!

It works I guess but not well and needs to be replaced in like a month tops. Seems like it stresses the compressor.
