Hmmm. . . chair leg or chew chips? Hmmm. . . shoe or beef hide chew chips? Sure, yell at your puppy for chewing on things, it's a natural puppy behavior. These chips are cheaper than new shoes or the frustration of those chair legs. Keep your puppy chewing (teething) with something okay to chew on. Haven't had any problems with digestion, indigestion, constipation or any negative side effects. I think they're well worth it.

These are always good chews, but I'm only giving 4 stars due to the price being pretty high when you have an aggressive chewer such as my pit bull, who can make one disappear in about 1 minute, then he's begging for another, then another, and again, and again......you get me. These are doggie crack, and my dog is addicted, and Rawhide Express is about to price themselves out of business. The prices keep going up. It's highway robbery.

My name is Rio. I am a Husky/Shepard dog. I came across these beef hide chews rather unexpectedly. You see I was rescued from a Burbank, California shelter, and it proved to be the best day of my life. I was shuttling between residences at least three times until I arrived at my final and ultimate home.Then one day my best human friend, Zev buys me these rawhides basted with beef flavor. It was an unexpected surprise for sure! This stuff occupies me when I just need something unobjectionable to chew. Some of these chews are too thick to be dealt with though.Let me tell you its a great life now: I'm combed everyday, appreciated, washed once a month with a shower wand, and I receive raw frozen food daily together with dry grain free nuggets!

I've been buying these for a long time, but something has recently changed! The order I just received is not the same product. They look odd, and they reek! I'm sitting in my den, and can smell them sitting on my kitchen counter 30 feet away. The dog seemed to like them OK, but he has eaten a lot of questionable things in his life! I'll be looking around for something else....

Here is my dogs' review:Shepherd mix, 10 years old - *chewchewchew*Doberman, 9 months old - *chewchewchew*As you can see, they enjoy these immensely. It lasts each of them about 10 minutes a piece. It's not terribly smelly (bonus!) and doesn't leave stain marks on the floors/carpets. Great product!

These chews appear to be for a small dog, even though they are about 4 to 6 inches long. My dog chewed them and they end up getting to the point where they could be swallowed thus causing indigestion for the pet. I threw them away after a couple of them were consumed.

Excellent for occasional 'rewards.' I bought the peanut butter variety, as well. Both of my dogs have meaty bones and such to chew on when they feel like it but I also like to have these products on hand. Better size for mid- to large-dogs, though--even if my little Cavalier King Charles spaniel thinks that he should have a humongous one, some of these are thin enough that he can have the 'big dog kind.'
