I looked through so many reviews and found maybe 2.I needed something for my long thick haired Cushing's horse. It's starting to get warm and he just looked miserable. The size of the blades and clipper is average and what you would expect. They perform well and glide through the hair with ease even though he was super dirty and gross. They cut right through the matts and clumps. THEY ARE SHARP SO USE CAUTION!!They did get hot quite fast but they cooled off quickly when you gave it a brake. We also used lots of cool lube to help it along. They give you a great instruction booklet on how to care/clean them.It has a lot of power to get the job done. I think it took us maybe 45min to do his belly, legs, parts of his neck and chest. It is large so getting into the armpits and small areas is difficult. They are loud but they're big clippers so it's to be expected. If you have a horse sensitive to sound it might be a challenge to get the job done.

These clippers worked great and allowed me to clip pretty quickly. The only down side is the metal blade gets really hot but the handle does not. I didn’t think the clippers were hot until my horse started moving a bunch and I touched the blade and burnt my finger. Touch often to make sure they aren’t too hot and need a cool down time. They don’t leave pretty lines so I went back over my clip with small clippers to touch it up and I couldn’t get some of the smaller curves in his neck and back with the big clippers. But they work fast and let you power through a body clip. They are very loud though so if your horse is sensitive keep that in mind.

Off the bat I knew this wasn't going to work for some of my animals due to how loud it was. But for some of my more tolerant horses I figured itd be okay, 15 mins in the clipper and blade are both burning me and my horse (I have always clipped horses and groomed dogs so I understand that clippers always get hot but the level of heat it was producing was dangerous). I unplugged them and let them sit on my barn floor to see if they just needed to sit. Used them again and they started smelling like they were going to catch on fire! They also leave awful lines in the coat, doesnt look good and scary to use. Do not recommend.

I needed to get a heavy winter coat off as quickly as possible. The clipper is very heavy and the noise level on this thing is crazy, however, it did get the job done! If it lasts for a season or 2 it will have been worth it. Overall, I am happy with this purchase and would recommend for doing a larger horse with a thick coat. If you want to be more detailed or fancy I would recommend something a little more refined.

This baby works like a beast!! It does heat up quick, so make sure to keep the coolant spray handy! It works very well, even on my sweet fuzzball with Cushings fur. It is a little loud, so heads up if you have a spooky animal. My horse is fine with it though.(She gets a treat every few strokes, lol) Overall, this is a very good deal; live the case it comes in to keep it tidy as well.Overall, I highly recommend this for big trimming jobs! ðŸ‘

Good for the most part. They do cut and for the price, it's a decent cut.But... The blades get hot quickly. Have cooling oil ready. These are HUGE... You will need a smaller pair to cut around sensitive areas and the face.Cordless would be better, as these are heavy. Hand fatigue will factor in.

Loved how easy to use these trimmers were. They made taking my cushingoid horse's winter coat off super fast and easy. It only took me about an hour and half to do her whole body. I've never done a full body clip before and these clippers were so easy to use the clip even looked decent despite my lack of skill. 100% would recommend these!

They are sharp but they are very quick to get the job done. Instead of trying to clip my horse every two weeks and spend 130 on it, I purchased this instead. Be careful when getting into little nooks and crannys (I clipped my horse) and you’ll unintentionally might nic your horse. They are VERY VERY loud. My horse didn’t like the sound at first but by the second time he got clipped he was doing what he does when he gets a massage. The blades also last a long time as well. I would say by these ones if you’re clipping horses with long thick winter coats and you plan on blanketing.

I cannot use regular clippers for my Hungarian Puli - hair is too thick - I use this to get the majority and normal dog clippers for fine areas like face toes and back end. I love it but word of warning this baby is powerful, it heats up so u have to be fast and it is LOUD.
