So far this Hella part has worked very well. It looked almost exactly as the original VAG behr part. It free spins shortly after a cold start, and it clutches (tightens up) when the motor is warm enough to need more cooling.I had purchased a URO part one at RMEuropean (it was the only option offered) and it basically never spun freely after engine startup. It was continuously locked and made a very loud whooshing3 noise. I removed it after about two days fearing that it might cause the fan to fall apart.
