The keys give you the ability to create more nuanced and colorful passages with velocity and after-touch functionality. Chord Play Mode allows you to play a chord with up to 16 notes with one single key for some really enchanting Trance music. The SWING also features a 64-step polyphonic sequencer so you can create any progression imaginable and even play over it. Switch to Arpeggiator mode and create an amazing string of notes that can sync to the clock of any device the SWING is connected to. || CONTROLS || The Style/Pattern knob on the SWING can select up to 8 saved programs in Sequencer style/pattern, while in Arpeggiator style/pattern, you can select different playing orders such as up, down, inclusive, exclusive, random, note order, double up and double down styles/patterns. Select from 8 different time signatures with the Scale knob and adjust the tempo with the Tempo knob or the Tap button. Press the Record button to start recording a sequence. This also doubles as an Append button when holding down Shift. Use this along with the Stop/Clear Last button and you can edit your sequences and arpeggios on the fly. || CONNECTIVITY || Connect the SWING to a DAW via USB, a polyphonic synth via MIDI or your favorite Eurorack synth via CV/Gate. I bought a Behringer Pro 800 and it needed a keyboard with old-school midi in/out connections. I also wanted it to fit nicely in front of my computer keyboard, and almost every little midi keyboard I found was USB only, no standard midi connections.This one was perfect except that I prefer mod wheels to the ribbon strips. That said, I guess I'll just have to play it enough to get used to the ribbons.

I had previously ordered this keyboard from another source as a lesser price, only to find that it had been a return. Several functions that did not work and I was forced to return it. This unit from Adorama was brand new in a company packaging and packed very securely for shipping. The unit was received in perfect condition and every thing on the keyboard works flawlessly.
