This shell had mixed reviews but it worked really well for us and our one year old on vacation! We wanted to be able to bike around the island as a family and after purchasing three different seat attachments this is the one we decided to keep. It was easy to attach to our bike, seemed sturdy under his weight (22 pounds), and I never once questioned his safety while riding in it. I think he will still be able to comfortably fit in it this time next year which will be great. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a seat attachment for a younger toddler!

Perfect for your child. This is easy to assemble and just as easy to remove quickly if you aren’t bringing your child with you. My child was 8 months old and a little under 20 lbs when we first tried this so he was a little small. Only down side was his helmet would stick out so his head couldn’t comfortably sit back. We are excited to try again once he goes a bit bigger but otherwise love the product

My two year old loves to ride on the back of my bike in this seat. The installation was easy. Where the seat adjusts it doesn’t really lock into place and that concerned me at first, I’m not a really avid rider though so we stick to easy terrain and I feel like with his weight in the seat it’s not going to slide. The angle of the seat and the way it turns in leaves him curled up and with his helmet on unable to sit up straight. It’s hard for him to really look around. Overall though I think this is a great seat for the price and we sure do enjoy having it.

I really loved this seat, but it did not fit my women's 28in mountain bike. When my son who is 30lbs sat in it it would bend enough just to scrape the back tire. I had to return it.

It's easy to install and fast to take off when you are not using it. The main design flaw, like some other reviewers pointed out, is the the lock of the seat on the metal support: it get unhooked every time you hit a bump, and the baby slides towards the seat. No risk that the baby falls, but they get squeezed between the seat and the saddle (and when you pedal you end up hitting the feet support of the baby seat). Overall a cheap convenient solution, but if you can afford a more expensive one go for something else.

Does not feel secure apt all. It bounces around with my one year old who is only half the weight limit. The safety belt is pathetic and the seat cushion will just fly away if no child is in the seat. I installed a nick cargo rack for the seat to sit on and had to zip tie the seat to it to make the seat rideable. What makes this purchase even worse for me is that when I bought, the price for a new one was $200 and used ones were $50. Then the new ones came down to $50 too! Why does amazon allow that!?

***update..got all the pieces and it’s still a good seat! It won’t fit on my bike because it’s smaller but fits on my husbands! Can’t wait to take my grandson for a ride! Easy to install. I like the fact that you can pop it off when not in use!It’s a great little seat but it would help if I got the mounting clip and lock bar. Kind of useless without it. I will update review after I hear from them.

I like it a lot, especially the fact that it is super easy to take off and put back on. The only thing I don’t just love is that when you hit a bump the carrier bounces a lot, since it doesn’t have reinforcement in the back.

No ajustó bien con mi bicicleta MTB R29, la silla choca un poco con la llanta trasera, tuve que ajustar amarrando el soporte de la silla hacia el sillin de la bicicleta, para levantar un poco la silla y que no pegue con la llanta...

Excelente facil de instalar super rapido, y el niño va comodo y seguro. Solo que para los pequeños que su cabeza aun no sobresale del respaldo, no les queda super comodo por el casco, se les hace las cabeza un poco empujada hacia adelante. O haria que encontrar un casco mas delgado de atras. Pero aun asi nos encanto y el arnes 3 puntos esta muy bien. EL pequeño se puede quedar dormido no se cae!.

Muy bien producto, de lo que vi en venta en linea, fue de lo mejor que vi. Se ve de muy buena calidad, pero desgraciadamente no me funcionó para mi bici ni la de mi esposa que son de montaña. No viene especificado en la descripción para el tipo de bici que puede ser utilizado y lo tuve que regresar. Solo por eso no le pongo las 5 estrellas, pero eso ya fue culpa del proveedor que puso a la venta este articulo en Amazon sin poner las caracterÃsticas completas.

Mi bebé tiene 1 año y pesa menos de 10 kg, de todas maneras con la vibración, el asiento oscila y golpea la llanta. Sin una parrilla este producto es inútil. Ni lo intenten en bicis R26, el tubo del asiento no da para instalar el soporte.
