Good quality steel but... like all these "split" sockets it tends to spread open under load!! So... use the "hose clamp trick"!!! In case you don't know... that means... after you get it on the sensor...tighten a hose clamp around it to keep it closed!!

Simple enough to use . I bought one for a 1/2 inch drive and should have bought a 3/8.. I have both size ratchets but a 3/8 would have been easier to use in the engine compartment is a 2016 explorer

I bought this and a new O2 sensor for my 1987 s-10. It stated in a green box with check mark that it did fit a 1987 s-10. It absolutely WILL NOT go over my new O2 sensor or my old original sensor in my truck currently. The O2 sensor is a nice quality Delphi, not some junk knock off. It should have fit what it stated it would fit. I would NOT recommend for this reason. I’ll change my rating if I can get correct socket.

Should work fine if you have enough room to get it on the sensor and get a ratchet on it. Couldn’t use it on my 03 Tundra driver side sensors.
