Just finished a 71 mile canoe trip down the pecos river with this bad boy. It was great and the end was durable and stood up to the rest, we push of rocks and get it beat up pretty good. My cousin has the same one and he’s done the same trip 4 times with this paddle. Workhorse

Used these paddles up in BWCAW in spring over rapids and over 100 miles of paddling. They took the work and still look beautiful. Reinforced tips are great for rocky shores.

Used them tis weekend for the first time on a camping trip, only problem was my paddling partner beat all the finish off the inside while sitting in front and kept banging the side of the canoe.

I am disappointed with ordering bending branches from Amazon. I recently ordered two different bending branches paddles (the arrow and the loon). When the first one arrived, I immediately noticed damage to the handle of the product. I thought "this looks like someone returned and they just sent back out." A day later the 2nd one arrived and it also had damage to the handle of the product. That seemed odd that both were damaged at the same part.I am disappointed to say that all of this could have been avoided. The packaging was terrible. The box barely fits the canoe paddle, so both ends are jammed into the cardboard. In short, there is no way this paddle could go from manufacturer to Amazon and to the customer without being damaged.
