Not a conventional braid and not a mono - Thermally Fused FireLine changed fishing forever. Now we are re-launching the Next Generation of FireLine. Smoother and tougher than ever with the same powerful strength, smooth handling and fast-casting you know and love.

I actually don't use this for fishing. I use it as a sewing/beading thread. However, most of the reasons that I used it are the same reasons it would be a good fishing line. I like it because it has no stretch, it's abrasion resistant (doesn't tear easily), it's thin enough to be almost invisible with a little distance, and is fused (unlike if it I used traditional thread), so it goes through the needle easier. I think Berkley actually makes this as thread but read that the thread and the fishing line are exactly the same and just labeled/advertised differently.

The only line I use and rarely is on sale. Knots hold well.

There is better line out there IMO. Perhaps it's too light for me. Either way unless it's soaked in KVD it don't cast for c-hit. I won't buy it again. There has got to be better stuff out there. Too much advertising fluff in this business.
