I didn’t think there was much of a chance that these would keep my wacky rigs weedless on the lower Colorado River where I fish. We have a heavy current and a lot of weeds that don’t help keep your tackle around for too long. But these hooks are doing the job admirably, with the only caveat being that I do have to reset the nylon guard every couple of casts. Small price to pay for keeping my gear. Hooks came sharp and I haven’t lost a fish on them yet, so I would rate these as a buy and I’ll be buying more in the future.

I'm normally a gamakatsu only guy. No longer, this style hook came on a choppo I bought. When I was unhooking a fish I got myself when the fish lunged. Couldn't believe how sharp it was. Price was really good and they've got all the sizes you need. Stayed sharp after multiple fish, no bend or give at all.

Light on feathers and heavy on flash (my opinion). However, strong hook and well put together, the thread that holds the feathers together is sealed so it does not unravel.

Seem to work as they should. My only complaint is the quantity is listed as 7 or 9 but you actually only get 2. Other than that seem pretty good.

Using these hooks as replacements for factory provided. You can see these hooks are well made and much heavier than the original hook.

I bought these to use with swimbaits in the ocean. Compared to some other "high end" hooks, these really beat them out. Granted pretty much all hooks are made over seas, with the exception of Eagle Claw being made in USA. These hooks are beefy, and Superline rated. They're sticky sharp, and fairly slick, with Berkley's coating on them. I honestly haven't used them yet, but just off of a visual comparison these should be up to the task of fishing the kelp, and rocks with swimbaits!! I will update once I hit the water with a trial.
