I wanted to crochet a new baby blanket for my first grandson due December 13th... I actually picked out this exact yarn at the local crafts store and then ordered the other 2 here! It was a much better deal here than either of my local stores! This yarn is wonderfully amazing for making super thick, incredibly soft blankets! I have used this same brand/style of yarn in the past to make blankets and they are great! They are very durable and super soft! I love that my son can lay the blanket onto the floor for baby and know that nothing that could be on the floor will simply go thru the blanket and get near the baby's mouth or nose! I accidentally cut the blanket I had made for my husband years ago and never attempted to fix it at all... It has not pulled loose or come undone whatsoever around the cut! I cannot believe how good this yarn works to make extremely long lasting blankets! It also makes the blanket basically a "weighted" blanket as well! The thickness of the yarn makes the blankets weigh much more than regular yarn would! It is in no way an uncomfortable weight however! The weight, thickness and softness this yarn makes the blankets will definitely put anyone using it to sleep very quickly! It makes extremely cozy and comforting blankets! I have many plans to make many more blankets using this brand and style of yarn! Another great aspect is vast array of colors this yarn comes in! Solid colors and mixing colors... This is definitely my favorite blanket yarn for making people that I love blankets... It seems like you can actually feel the love that it was made with!

So far in my crocheting journey, I like this yarn best for making scarves & blankets. It's very easy to work with & easy to see what you're doing. I had bought Pipsqueak yarn for a baby blanket & almost gave up. Impossible. I think I have to use knitting needles for that stuff. I keep coming back to Bernat Blanket and Bernat Baby Blanket. They don't actually seem that different in terms of thickness or softness. Colors seem true across lots & washes nicely. Highly recommended.

I couldn’t find this yarn in the store after my previous purchase. I found it online at the makers website, but it was expensive. So I decided to try Amazon. So far, I’ve been able to purchase four skeins cheaper than in store or makers website. This yarn is SO soft. It’s definitely not your mother’s scratchy yarn.

I’ve been using Bernat yarn for years now and I’ve absolutely loved it. I love how soft and easy to work with it is. The colors with this yarn are more vivid than pictured but either way the yarn is beautiful.

I always love getting a good deal on Bernat Blanket yarn and this one was an excellent deal when I got it. It crochets up nicely. Will be buying more later.

You completely lose the look of your stitches but it’s a fun “tv static†pattern when worked up. 11 skeins and a huge blanket later it was great quality and easy to work up.

I love Bernat yarn, this line is my favourite, I've made so many blankets with it. I'm working on a new blanket with this yarn and I'm loving how it's turning out. Super soft and good quality. I also find that they're the best price for a better yarn out there. I am loyal to Bernat for a reason!!

I am torn with this yarn. My daughter keeps asking me to buy more for her in different colours and has made some lovely projects with it (crochet toys). She likes the feel of the yarn, the consistent colour, the evenness of the thickness of the yarn with limited breakage. All good. Personally, I just feel it is expensive for polyester yarn - even if the balls are 300g each and are a good quality - so have knocked off 1 star on price alone. If colour, feel and quality are your prime reasons for buying, then I recommend it..but it does come at a cost if you are buying a lot quite frequently!

Use this to make toys - fabulous yarn - just wish it was cheaper - but the quality is so good I'm prepared to pay for it!!! A joy to crochet with!
