The size is perfect, as I actually plan on using them as a basing element for miniatures. That aside, they roll quite well, and have just the right hint of color to make it visible to see the numbers. I may even order another set just to have back up. Definitely a great stocking stuffer for your avid role-playing gamer.

I used these dice to create bottles of healing potion for my Pathfinder games. They worked beautifully and easily fit through the mouth of a small vial. The dice roll in a most satisfactory way.

I wanted coordinating mini dice sets for large groups of people who play together. I was torn between two brands and ended up getting both. Here is my experience:CHESSEX:7 individual colours available if you check enough vendors: red, green, blue, purple, pink, 'teal' (turquoise), & clear.Made in the U.K.A well-known brand.Space-wasting blister packs (neither attractive nor efficient for long-term storage).Rather sloppy paint throughout.Average cost per colour (including shipping): $6.19.I am really disappointed in the quality of the Chessex brand, especially for the cost. It's not just the uninspired packaging and the shoddy paint job, but the inconsistent colouring of the dice themselves. 5 of the purple dice were dark violet, but the D4 & TENS10 (% die) were light lavender. 5 of the green dice were dark emerald; the D8 was light lime; the D4 was sort of in between (but at least close enough to blend--in a generous person't judgement--with either of the other 2 colours). The contrasting dice were far enough apart in colour that they really could be packaged & sold as separate light or dark shades, yet they were combined into one 'purple' or 'green' 'set'.To me, the mismatched dice look so glaringly wrong that not are the green & purple subsets ruined, but the combined set of 49 mini dice I had planned on compiling will never look right together either. My plan is thwarted; my money is wasted. Yet I couldn't return all of them for a refund, because not only did I not buy all of them from the same vendor, but the sets were sold separately--so of course some of the subsets are technically 'as described'.Luckily, I had bought both the two problem subsets from the same vendor--who totally agreed with me that this kind of colour variation would not be acceptable to most gamers who cared enough to shop and pay for their own dice. This vendor looked through their remaining sets but found the exact same problem in all their green & purple stock. They contacted Chessex--but Chessex does not consider such drastic colour variation to be a flaw, so the manufacturer offered no solutions.My vendor said they'd go the extra mile and order a bunch more sets, then give me the best of the bunch. They did send me 2 free additional sets (purple & green). But the problem is so pervasive that this didn't actually resolve anything except demonstrate extraordinary customer service; the replacement dice (the green D4 & both purples) are just as 'off' in colour and actually even more sloppily painted. Unless Chessex EITHER figures out how to keep their colours more consistent from run to run OR at least withholds an unusually light or dark shape until they have full sets of dice of similar colours to package together, I cannot recommend this brand unless you just can't live without teal/pink/clear coloured mini dice. If you do want Chessex mini dice, I highly recommend the Amazon seller STICR. Not many Amazon sellers would even try that hard.BESCON:12 colours available (6 sets of marbled 'Gemini' colours OR 6 sets of translucent colours: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, & purple).Made in & shipped from China.Brilliant storage: a sturdy reusable clear zip bag holds all 6 tubes perfectly. Each tube holds a full set of 7 dice perfectly.(This is accomplished by making most of the dice just a tiny bit smallerthan the Chessex minis; the size difference is most noticeable in the D6s & especially the D4s. The one exception is the D8; Bescon's D8 is actually a smidgen larger than Chessex's.)Much better paint quality (the Gemini set was perfect; my red translucent D20 has a sloppy but legible 15).Average cost per colour (including shipping): $3.05.Previous buyers confirmed that the tubes are durable enough for long-term storage & transport. To me, such simple, attractive storage is a huge advantage. I ordered the translucent set but was sent the marbled set instead. I contacted the company and sent a photo of the set I'd received. They let me keep the wrong set and shipped the correct item right away. Luckily, I had ordered early enough that even with the delay, I got the replacement in time for my gift-giving occasion. The marbled set looks absolutely perfect. The red translucent D20 does have a sloppily painted 15. All in all, Bescon was a much better buy. I do wish the D4s were just a bit bigger for easier handling--and I think that could be accomplished without even having to enlarge the tubes. But to me, even a slightly-too-small (but ever so cute!) D4 is definitely worth the convenience of custom tube storage. And there is no problem with colour consistency among the Bescon dice I received! They all look great together. I strongly recommend Bescon dice from a consumer's viewpoint; Bescons's products are superior, and their customer service was prompt & honest. I have not, however, researched the ecological impact or employment conditions of either the Chessex or Bescon brands.

Love these for my health potions I use at the table. Very small and easy to fit into little bottles, but well printed and still easy to read. More than I needed but I think these have made a great addition to my games. Love them.

Solid, cheap mini dice set that look awesome. One of the 6 sets had the incorrect dice in them (it was missing a d6), but other than that, can’t complain.

They're super cute and a fun way to roll for your hp for potions. It's nice to not have to pick through my dice hoard for a bunch of d4s. The jar fits all the dice nicely. You'll have enough nice for three separate people to be able to chug Potions of Supreme Healing at the same time! I ordered these dice because I wanted smaller dice and this did not disappoint! They are roughly the size of your pinky nail, varying on the type of dice (d4 is slightly smaller than d20, of course)These are very easy to read all the numbers, each color is bright and clear, and they came in little tubes that separated them by color.FOR SURE worth the price! Zero issues with Bescon dice, and I'll be ordering from them way more often now!

What I received was 32 translucent (extra 2!) red d4 in a 30ml glass jar with a wood cork lid. Letters are white and easily readable. 1 or 2 sides out of 128 (32x4) total sides where light on paint but none the less readable.These dice sit at 10mm tall so they are half as tall as a standard d4 but i would guess that they are about 1/5 the volume of a standard d4 so when they are listed as mini dice that mean mini.I was planning on making 5 potions with 6d4 but I might just make 1 a 8d4 since I got the extra 2!

I bought one tube for Christmas gaming two years ago. I bought 2 more this Christmas. Maybe now I have enough dice. Who am I kidding...

On les utilise comme compteurs de points de vie en Jeu de Role ou Jeu de Société (Gloomhaven pour ne pas le citer). Leur taille et leur couleur s'y prête parfaitement. Pas de défaut constaté au niveau des dés. C'est très difficile d'en trouver des petits de cette taille, ils font bien les 10mm annoncés.
