I love the appearance of this porcelain leaf. It is delicate and thin, and just the right shape and size to suit a lot of uses for my loose leaf tea experience.I keep it on my desk with the little bamboo scoop at all times, to use at a moment's notice. The little bamboo thingy I use to rake out the old leaves from my infuser when I'm done with them. And the porcelain leaf I use to hold my metal infuser to drain safely away from my paper and keyboard, and also to pre-dry old leaves I rake out of the infuser, before they go into the office trash can so my coworkers don't have to deal with a trash can full of soggy leaves.Most of the day, it's just a pretty little porcelain leaf and bamboo stick, sitting decoratively on my desk, until I need it to take care of my loose leaf tea, in which case it will have some wet leaves or a wet infuser sitting on it for about an hour or two, and then it's back to being a decorative porcelain leaf again.I'm trying to live more eco-friendly, and loose leaf tea is by far better for the planet than mass-produced bagged tea, and this little set up allows me to enjoy my new loose leaf journey at work without inconveniencing my coworkers, making a mess, or threatening my paperwork and electronics. That's a big job for one little porcelain leaf to do, but it does it beautifully! I'm so glad I got it.
