BETAFPV Configurator V2.0
We released a new BETAFPV Configurator V2 on Dec 2024.
For existing users, all LiteRadio 3 Radio Transmitters, including the first batch released in 2022, are eligible for a firmware upgrade. To enjoy the latest features, we highly recommend upgrading your LiteRadio 3 firmware and using the latest version of BETAFPV Configurator.
Several exciting new features and improvements about the BETAFPV Configurator V2:
- Easy Parameter Adjustment: Designed for BETAFPV's LiteRadio series and Cetus drones with position-hold and auto-hovering features, the software allows pilots to effortlessly adjust PID controller parameters through an intuitive graphical interface, optimizing flight performance with ease.
- Real-Time Feedback: Instantly displays the effects of parameter adjustment, providing real-time monitoring and helping pilots quickly evaluate and refine settings for the drones or remote controls.
- Efficient Troubleshooting: With built-in diagnostic tools, the software assists pilots in checking firmware versions and product status when an issue arises, making it easier to identify and resolve issues, minimizing downtime.
- Streamlined Firmware Flashing: Features a user-friendly firmware flashing mechanism for drones and remote controls, complete with guided instructions and progress indicators, ensuring smooth, error-free updates.

All Your Favorite FPV Simulators, One Controller
LiteRadio 3 supports popular FPV simulators like VelociDrone, Liftoff, TRYP, DRL, DCL, DJI, etc. This transmitter is compatible with desktops, Android devices, and tablets, it also features Xbox mode for seamless integration with the DJI Flight Simulator on the Windows system. But please note that if you want to enjoy these features, please make sure the firmware version is upgraded to V24.11.8 or above.

Notes and Precautions
1. To connect the LR 3 Radio Transmitter to the DJI virtual flight software (simulator), the firmware must be upgraded to V24.11.8 or above.
2. When connecting the Frsky version Radio Transmitter to the Android system, it is necessary to first swap the SA and SC switch channels in the BETAFPV Configurator host computer; (otherwise, the camera angle adjustment function and view switching function in the simulator will be abnormal).
3. The preset functions of some Radio Transmitter buttons are different when the Radio Transmitter is connected to the DJI simulator on the Android system and the PC (Windows) end; Other operating systems other than the above two systems are not currently supported; (the Android system is recommended, and there are more precautions for the Windows system)
Nano Bay Supports External TX Module
LiteRadio 3 reserved a nano bay on the backside, it supports CRSF protocol external TX module, compatible with the LiteRadio 3 radio transmitter and makes CRSF protocol available
Nano Gimbal
LiteRadio 3 has a newly designed Joystick Gimbal. The stick is detachable, anti-slip, and adjustable in height, it is long longevity of up to 120k times rotations. Positioning accuracy and fast response sensitivity, bringing a good experience to your flight
Built-in 2000mAh Battery
Equipped with a built-in 2000mAh 1S battery, you can charge by USB and it can work up to 15 hours without an external module. It indicates a low battery and needs to be re-charged if the blue light flashes slowly and the buzzer beeps continuously

great ELRS radio. important to take the time to understand how the product works. used with the BETA FPV nano receiver. interesting pairing process as the receiver needs to be powered up and down three times with no transmitter and then it goes into pairing mode. If one is not careful and powers up the receiver three times in a row without the transmitter you can lose the pairing. easy to recover, just press the pairing button on the transmitter. Very happy with beta FPV products, just had to spend some time understanding how they work.

The BetaFPV LiteRadio 3 RC gamepad worked right out of the box.The first thing I did is use the BetaFPV Configurator to view the status of the gamepad, determine the software version, and test the functionality of the joysticks and switches.I found the software version of the gamepad to be 2.0.1due to the fact that it is the BetaFPV version of the ELRS software, the joystick gimbals to be smooth and jitter free, and the switches to function as advertised.I then proceeded to bind my BetaFPV Nano serial channel receiver with the gamepad which took three tries, but I got a successful bind on the third try.Based on my findings, I definitely recommend this RC gamepad as an inexpensive alternative to a standard RC hobby transmitter especially since it can except higher powered transmitter modules for longer ranges.

The manufacturer states that this controller does not work on Windows computers unless you flash the firmware. Where are the files, not on the manufacturer's website. $70 was not enough money for them to host the files. Documentation? Non-existant. Maybe it's a DLC I need to buy. When I download the firmware installer, it fails to connect to the non-existent file servers hosting the .bin files. Even better, the button to connect to the controller does not work. Seems like you need a PhD in computer science to connect the controller to the computer. Even better, when you flash the new firmware, you cannot use the controller with a drone until you flash it back to the previous firmware.Thanks for the e-waste BetaFPV.

I like this controller. It is lightweight and a little fragile so make sure to get a good strap. If you drop it face down on the gimble you will regret it. It is accurate and I get good battery life. It charges USBC. Get a case for it.

Love this thing. I wanted something simple looking, and this is what I settled on. Small and simple. Can have plenty of buttons and switches programmed. Joystick guards are a cool plus.

The controller worked amazing with the Cetus X, super easy just bind and go, my kids are learning to fly fpv and this definitely helps by being simplistic right out the box.

The with little use the non Hall Gimbals became noisy and this Radio is also let down be the crappy BETAFPV Configurator software that has to be used on a PC to configure the Radio -- Windows Only-- buy a radio which run on the EdgeTX platform it's a better option - I do not recommend this Radio.
